This watch has a the Eterna-Matic fully signed automatic movement 1498U, that was an important invention in the company’s history, also represents a groundbreaking step in the evolution of the entire watch industry.
The technology took the art of watchmaking to new levels and construction and placement of the ball bearings soon became a contraption that all the other watch companies tied to copy.
In this era (1950s) Eterna-Matic became the new name for all automatic watches produced by Eterna and was known to many as the absolutely best watch for outdoor adventures.

This watch is in vintage condition. The case has age related signs of use, the crown and all parts are original.
The glass shows no scratches. The dial is signed and has light patina and signs of use in its original finish. The hands are dauphine shaped. The wristband is vintage, came with the watch, it seems to be Crocodile leather but can not tell for sure. It's vintage and has no signs of use. However there is no Guarantee of the material. (Not Eterna.)
At the moment the watch is in working order, however the last service date is not known, and by all vintage watches is recommended. For more details please see pictures as the part of the description.
