On laid paper.

Condition: Horizontal fold below centre. Small, repaired tear on left near top. Thinned paper bottom-left. Age-related paper colouring (see photos).

Abraham Bloemart (1566–1651) Dutch painter, draughtsman &etcher/engraver. He worked mainly in Paris, Amsterdam & Utrecht, mostly painting history subjects and landscapes. Trained many artists, including his four sons, Hendrick, Frederick, Cornelis, and Adriaan Bloemart.

Cornelis Bloemart II (1603-1692) Engraver. Son of Abraham Bloemart. Pupil of Crispin de Passe. Worked in Paris c.1630, and moved to Rome by 1633.
