Signature “A. Spallarossa” at the bottom left.
Preserved in excellent condition.

A pupil of Eugenio Baroni and Guido Galletti, since the mid-1920s the sculptress Adriana Spallarossa (Genoa 1904–Turin 1985) has been making terracotta and bronze sculptures, which recall the 19th-century naturalism of classicist ideas and realistic contents.
