Delivered new in Paris on 18 May 1968 by Franco-Britannic, this Amaranto red Ferrari 365 GT 2+2 was acquired by Mr Philippe Woog, an art lover and collector and also the inventor of the electric toothbrush. After receiving the vehicle Mr. Philippe Woog preserved this 365 with the chassis and engine number 11317 for almost 50 years at his property on the shores of Lake Geneva. He used it as a second car and had it regularly serviced by specialists in Geneva. Thus, the rear shock absorbers, the spark plugs, the clutch and the stainless steel exhaust pipe were replaced, the seal of the mechanical components was checked at the same time as a routine overhaul was done. The current owner of the 11317 acquired the vehicle in 2017, when it had a mileage of just over 67,000 kilometres and Mr Woog described it in this way: "We can appreciate that after almost 50 years, the vehicle and its interior have been preserved like probably no other Ferrari dating from 1968". The vehicle was then given a new, exceptionally well executed paint job and new Michelin XWX tyres. After having driven 3000 km last year, the Ferrari still has all the fittings and equipment specially made for its delivery. It still has its original interior with a superb patina typical of the Conolly leather of vintage Ferraris, only the carpets were replaced. The dashboard is in extremely well preserved condition, there is no foxing on the chrome trim, and everything exudes the 1960s while being perfectly homogenous. The five Borrani rims were kept in their original good condition and do not show any signs of wear. The original warranty certificate, operating manual, service logbook and advertising brochures are available and will be provided to the purchaser in their leather pouch, as well as the jack and the tool kit. We have also not noticed any particular noise emanating from the running gear. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a 1960s Ferrari V12 with matching numbers & colours, which has never been fully restored, has only had two owners in its entire life, comes with its original documents and accessories and is in very good working condition!

This vehicle can be viewed in Mons, Belgium.
