Louis Albert Carvin (1875-1951) - Large German Shepherd Dog Sculpture - Marble, Spelter - First half 20th century
France

Very beautiful sculpture of two dogs on a marble base (yellow/orange, probably from Siena).

The base is large and measures 60 x 18 cm and is 46cm high.

Heavy: 16 kilos. In the second photo, I’ve added a pen so that you can see just how big it is. Both dog’s collars are signed Carvin.

NB:
One of the ears is slightly worn
The marble has a small chip in the back.
