Kachina Shalako Taka Doll



Hopi, Arizona - Second half of the 20th century.

Wood, feathers and pigments.

Dimensions: 37 cm x 9cm x 9 cm.



The painted figuration of the feathers is found on the Sio Shalako Mana which are transpositions of the Kachina Zuni with the same name. The latter are not topped by a tableta.

Very rich and bright polychromy. Excellent overall state of preservation.
