This knife from the Minangkabau people in West Central Sumatra has a slightly curved blade. The sheath has a protuberance at its top allowing this knife to be worn at one’s belt. The sheath is decorated with floral motifs on the top part and the other side has scale pattern resembling snakeskin.
Very rigid and tapered blade. Sheath with a very light honey patina carved from a single piece of wood. Handle in the same wood as the sheath.
