Description
Solar projection instrument (1) - Brass - Second half 19th century
Europe

Rare 19th century Solar Projection instrument in oak box.
Solar projection instrument itself is as it is in the box, about 38 cm long and from wooden knob to wooden knob 21 cm wide. Key is also attached to the box, lock needs attention. Opens and closes but not with lid locked. Furthermore, beautiful fire-gilded details of the box.
The photos are part of the description.
The box is 49 cm wide and 16 cm high. 28 cm deep.
Personally, I thought it was some kind of periscope, at least that's how it works. Furthermore, it looks a lot like a rather rare solar microscope.
