Superb quality early 20th century solid 800 silver rectangular shaped hinged box with engraved cover and finely handcrafted solid 18 karat gold initials "MM"

Fully hallmarked inside base and cover "800" together with Alfredo Raffaelli 1935 silversmith's mark and number "10" Both initials positively acid tested for solid 18 carat gold

Alfredo Raffaelli was awarded the "Grand Prix and Gold Medal" at the 1914 Genova International Exhibition
