Old headdress or ceremonial crown for Tibetan Buddhist monk or lama composed of five paper plates decorated with Buddhist symbols.
The headdress forms 5 lotus petals.
Tibet, Shigatse, Tsang.
Period: 18th century.

Weight: 145 g.
Used during the initiation ritual of the monk.
This crown is also worn by the lama.
