Georges Bousquet (1904-1976) - Nature morte aux fruits
Oil on canvas - Hand signed

Oil on canvas
Georges Bousquet is an engineer by training, but passionate about art. This passion led him to spend his free time visiting museums.
The first oils he made were perfect and disturbing classic paintings. Nevertheless, they show his skill in terms of lines and colours. The mastery of the technique and his knowledge of classicism help him to evolve towards a more modern conception of art. Painting is his true passion. He enrolled in an academy of Parisian painting and diligently attended classes and became passionate about the Louvre and the various museums of the capital.
In the1938s/1939s, Georges Bousquet discovered the impressionist and pointillist concept of painting and took his first steps in these subjects.
