Sculpture of a chubby little lady with a handbag, made in the hard stone type springstone.
It was made from one block of stone by Esau Karuru from Zimbabwe.
The face and hands are polished and waxed; the dress has different textures. The woman has a chubby, lovely face. It is an expressive statue that will bring a smile to your face.

Esau was born in 1979. He worked for several years as an assistant to the now deceased Colleen Madamombe. Colleen became famous for sculpting small, short women; she gave these females different poses: working, partying, with children, harvesting etc. Esau continued her style.
