Magnificent so-called Cow Mask

In the Hopi style.
Wood, skin, vegetable fibres, feathers and pigments.
Height: 40 cm; Width: 50 cm; Depth: 30 cm; and 60 cm high including the stand.
Age-related wear.
Sold with the stand.

We can observe the typical features of the Kachina Cow: a helmet mask in skin which is covered with pigments, a pair of horns is placed on the temples of the mask, whereas the mouth, made of the same matter, is in the form of a duck beak on which are drawn sharp teeth; and finally the globulous eyes were added.
