Classic danish midcentury pendant.
The lamp is designed by the danish lightning company Vitrika in the 1960s.
It is in a good vintage condition. The lamp does not have any bumps. It is in solid which have a beautiful patina. Please see the last pictures.
It is rewired and ready for use.
Vitrika is a part of the Danish midcentury design tradition which includes name like Jo Hammerborg (Fog og Mørup), Bent Karlby (Lyfa), Svend Middelboe (Nordisk Solar) and many more who all work with the multi shade system. A system first developed by the famous architect Poul Henningsen (Louis Poulsen) in the beginning of the 20th century. The multi shade system spreads the light perfectly in the room without the lightbulb is visible. The system is still used by designers all over the world.
The danish lightning company Vitrika were active in the 1950s, 60s and 70s. They are often used brass, copper and coloured glass in their designs and are known for high quality products.
