Kees Mol - Abstract Werk
Acrylic paint on Purple Cotton - Hand signed

Born in Middelburg 1937. At the young age of 14 he was a pupil of the now deceased artist Jac Prince in Middelburg, and won several national drawing competitions. From 1954 to 1958, he attended the, at the time very new, art academy St Joost te Breda in free painting, illustration, advertising and industrial design. At the final exam he was nominated for further graphic training in Switzerland. Made study trips to Florence, Paris and Brussels. From 1960 to 1965 he worked in the advertising department of a large company in Roosendaal as a designer visualiser. Worked as a free lance illustrator for some publishers and designed covers and illustrations for youth magazines and books. Made murals in buildings in Breda. Exhibited at the same time in Amersfoort, Breda and Middelburg. Can work effortlessly in different styles and techniques because of his training.

The painting is 35 x 42 (l x w) and a true eye-catcher.
