Very large Nella Damsma wall decoration, made by Lama Holland in the 1970s

Handmade enamel painting on copper. The copper plate is attached to tropical wenge wood.

The wall decoration shows 3 wonderful enamelled cranes

Nella Damsma, a Dutch artist who specialises primarily in enamel paintings on decorative wall panels and various utensils. She was born in Haarlem in 1931, in a family of stained glass artists, which is why she was able to practice that art from a very young age. Was taught by various painters from Haarlem but is mostly self-taught. In 1955, she founded her own company, 'Lama Holland'.
You can find her works in countries including America, Belgium and Germany

This wall decoration is approx. 65 cm high and 14.5 cm wide and is in good condition, but has a small line at the head of cranes (please see photos)
