Offered: an extremely rare "The Standard Egg Scale" produced by Canadian company Hiram L Piper Co. in Montreal.
The scale consists of a wooden base with a sheet steel strip fitted with four holes and a counterweight.
Eggs can be weighed with a weight ranging from 18 to 24 oz per boxes.
The egg weigher is in a surprisingly good condition. The "manual" which is stamped on the wooden base is still very easy to read.

The dimensions of the egg weigher are: 27.5 cm x 13.5 cm x 7.5 cm.
The whole is in excellent condition and shows few signs of wear.
