Japanese vase painted by hand, 20th century.
A rare piece of Chinese porcelain of the finest craftsmanship, it was entirely painted by hand with maritime patterns in waves depicting typical Chinese shapes, over which a great dragon emerges above clouds. The central part of the neck of the vase is decorated with a very delicate ornament depicting geometrical patterns. The item is an original from the Meiji era, i.e. the late 19th- and early 20th-century. Its wavy mount and huge dimensions will not let this remarkable collector piece go unnoticed by anyone.
