Grimme, Natalis & Co, Brunswick - Trinks Brunsviga Model M - Calculator, 1910s - Steel

Description
Grimme, Natalis & Co, Brunswick - Trinks Brunsviga Model M - Calculator, 1910s - Steel
Germany - 1910-1921

A seldom offered mechanical calculator from Trinks-Brunsviga from the first half of the 20th century, complete including steel case and is probably more than 100 years old.

The “Trink” represents the name of Franz Trinks who worked as an engineer at Grimme, Natalis & Co as from 1892. Brunviga is the Latin name for Braunschweig, that is the place where this calculator was manufactured. Grimme, Natalis & Co took over the patent from the Odhner family. Trinks himself worked at this company until 1925. The patent logo contains C.a.A (Commanditgesellschaft auf Aktien) and is the original founding logo.

The calculator works very well for its age. Of course there are some signs of old age. Will be well packaged and shipped via registered mail.
