Set of two large fantastic, very well carved exceptional kamakurabori braziers (hibachi). All over decorated with kiku chrysantheum flowers and leaves. Lacquered in red, orange, yellow, green, brown and beige.
Kamakura-bori (鎌倉彫) is a form of lacquerware from Kamakura, Japan. It is made by carving patterns in wood, then lacquering it with layers of color. It is then polished. (wikipedia).

In very nice original condition with beautiful patina. Diameter 44 cm each! Weight 10 kg each! Will be shipped with certificate of authenticity.
