Very good condition, see description - 26×10×10 cm

Large and refined pair of lacquered vases with shibayama decoration in mother of pearl and ivory.
Both vases depict two wisemen, one with a crane, the other with a tiger.
They finish with three bamboo-shaped silver feet.
Excellent condition of the gilding and shibayama decoration. They have some minimal defects, specifically a small restoration to the gilding and a light crack to the lacquer as indicated in the photos.

Japanese artefact from the Meiji period (circa 1890–1910).
The item was produced prior to 1947, and is therefore in compliance with European Union regulations on ivory trade.
The item comes with a certificate of authenticity that will be sent to the buyer.
