Okimono in bronze, plated in silver and gold on the details of the feet, beak and eyes, depicting a falcon getting ready to fly, with a determined look, that seems to have located the prey. Eyes inlaid in gold. Signed Minkoku in rectangular box in bronze. Resting on an original patinated bronze base made to look like a large trunk sticking out with flowers.
Dimensions of falcon excluding base: 16 x 27 x 16 cm.
In very good condition - traces of tin and retouched gold plating along the inner top part of the right foot, that can be seen with an expert eye.
