In this ensemble of earplugs there is a pair of black coated with some iron nails as a decoration.
This black pair is the first type of earplugs made by the Zulu men who worked in the mines.
The second pair is made of wood, surrounded by perspex and lined with iron nails as a decoration.
The special thing about this pair, is however that it is not mirror shaped... Probably one of them was lost on the field and the owner wanted an equally beautiful one.
This pair from perspex is very exceptional due to its dimensions.
I have rarely found a pair with such dimensions.
The dimensions of the wooden black pair, both about 60 x 12 mm.
Dimensions of the perspex pair: 80 x 20 mm and 75 x 15 mm
