Background in a beautiful light blue, with the characteristic linear grid embellished with carnations in the typical salmon colour and very unique white cross patterns, creating a distinct separation and lighting up the field.
Contrasting with the rich field, the edges are very simple: a border with pink salmon rosettes on a red background, accompanied by two linear frames: white and black, in the second wider frame marking the outer edge of the rug there is an antique Georgian border.
Wool as fine as silk. In very good condition, with the original Shirasi and selvedge.
Imported to the EU in 2000.
