Stylistic wooden PENDE mask from former Belgian Congo. Nice aged patina, with colourful coiffure. Typical downcast eyes, triangular nose and a protruding mouth and scarification on the cheek. Good condition with traces of tribal use. The backside of the mask is a bit damaged. The mask is covered with brown and white clay.
