Zippo - Zippo sterling - 1941 replica

Zippo - Zippo sterling - 1941 replica
U.S. - After 2000 - Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes

The Zippo timeline begins in 1932 in Pennsylvania, when George Blaisdell watched a friend struggle awkwardly to use a cumbersome, Austrian-made lighter, the wind-proof Zyklon.
The success of the Zippo, whose name was created by Mr Blaisdell in person, was absolutely incredible; it became the lighter provided to the United States Armed Forces (involved in World War II and in the Vietnam war) and an icon in the U.S. history.

This lighter is the sterling silver replica of the 1941 Zippo.

Body in solid silver. Silver net weight: 35 grams.

Regular type. Dimensions: 55 x 40 x 10 cm.
