Description
Ship's bell - Brass, Bronze, Copper - Second half 20th century
Netherlands

A beautiful large ship bell made of copper/bronze
The ship Arlene was built by the shipyard De Biesbosch, Dordrecht (The Netherlands)
commissioned by the French owner Aqua Viva SA in Lyon.
The sea trial was on 26-03-1986 and on 05-04-1986 the ship was shipped by dock ship to the Rhone. On 12-05-1986 the ship started its first journey The Arlene was one of the first cruise ships on the Rhône and was later deployed in the Rhine shipping with Arnhem as its berth.
It still looks very good as can be seen in the photos.
The bell can be easily hung by means of the harp closure.
I have added a lot of photos to give you a good impression of what you are buying.
Also a photo with the ship Arlene on which the bell has hung and a photo with a wine bottle so that the size can be determined.
The photos are part of the description.

The bell will be adequately packaged and sent by registered and insured mail with track & trace.
