Antique hearing device - deaf horn - listening horn - ladle model possible from Guye -
circa 1935, Dutch or English, not marked.
Original copper extendable deaf horn is forerunner of today's hearing aid. Stands very decoratively in a doctor's office, in a display case and is a nice topic of conversation.
In good condition for its age.
Dimensions: extended: length extended 45.5 cm, retracted: 29 cm. Diameter horn: 12 cm.
With minor signs of wear, beautiful patina. Has an original earbud at the end. See the photos.
