A very heavy porthole in which a mirror is fitted.
I have not been able to identify the name of the company The connoisseur will undoubtedly know. See the photos with the name on them.
I do know the name of the ship where this porthole was used: Tanker Velutina
All four clamps still work excellently. Because the rubber is no longer present, the clamp no longer closes the hatch properly.
A mirror has been installed but it can of course also be replaced by glass.
I think the porthole is between 60 and 75 years old.
The photos speak louder than words in this case so that´s why I have added a lot of photos, so that you can get a clear impression of the condition of this porthole.
Will be very beautiful in a nautical interior but of course also interesting for the maritime collector.
- outer diameter 26 cm
- inner diameter (the glass): 20 cm.
The porthole will be very thoroughly packaged and sent by registered and insured mail with track & trace.
