Pair of French Travelling Percussion Pistols 1850 in case. Walnut root stocks
" Neo Renaissance" style , steel barrel eight fold, damasked, riffled , proof mark " CHEVALIER" under barrels , steel garrisons decorated with ornate and vegetalist motifs .The lock has ornate engravings . Working fine in the two positions , very strong springs.Steel rods.

CHEVALIER- Gunsmith ( Arquebusier) in ABBEVILLE ( SOMME) , FRANCE CIRCA 1835/1855.


In a Bright Mahogany wood case, with key and possession scutcheon used ( this is not is original case) . Interior lined with velvet, compartmentalized: Vintage Brass Powder flask , vintage Bullet mold .
Apocryphal screwdriver,nipple box.
