Stainer - Stainer copy - Violin - Poland - 1850

Description
Stainer - Stainer copy - Violin - Poland - 1850
Good - Number of items: 1 - Including: Violin - Hard case

Jacobus Stainer violin, probably a copy from the mid-19th century. Made by an unknown luthier in Tyrol. A perfectly selected tree, which probably remembers the master himself from Tyrol. Manual lute work provides a unique sound. The label appears to be fake but there is no certainty that it is counterfeit. It appeared on the auction only once. If I don’t find a worthy buyer then I’ll leave it in my collection.
