Both beautifully designed and finished.
Both manufactured in The Netherlands.
The cake server weighs 62 grams and was manufactured in 1956.
Provided with the various Dutch silver hallmarks. Running Lion (II), Minerva and Jaarletter (1956).
Made of 835/1000 pure silver.
The total length is approx. 23 cm.
The surface area of the scoop part is approx. 9.5 x 5.8 cm (maximum measured).
The bread fork weighs 45 grams and dates from a slightly earlier period. Assayed/hallmarked with the old Dutch sword: for Dutch silver objects made of 835/1000 and 925/1000 pure silver.
So made of at least 835/1000 pure silver.
Also carrying the Master/Company mark.
The total length is approx. 19.8 cm (measured to the deepest (longest) prong of the fork and 16.5 cm measured to the shortest prongs (on the sides) of the fork.
The width of the "sticking part" is approx. 3 cm (maximum measured).
Both Items are in a very neat condition with minimal signs of wear and scratches.
