Fabius lorenzi - Portrait de femme

Fabius lorenzi - Portrait de femme
Pastel - Hand signed - 1930

Large red chalk drawing with great highlights of pastels and white chalk on beige paper. It depicts a naked woman at the edge of her bed. Artwork signed in the bottom right-hand corner "Lorenzi". Art deco style, typical of the artist's production. In good condition, some minor pinhole but no severe stains or tears. Naked of an artist known for his Art Deco subjects, mostly lascivious nudes, Alberto Fabio Lorenzi, known as Fabius Lorenzi, satirical illustrator, painter and draughtsman, born in Italy in 1880 and died in 1969. There are many lithographs and prints from the 1920s with the subject "La Garçonne" of the Roaring Twenties, this undated sheet seems to be probably from the late period, around 1930-1935. Sheet size: 62.5 x 46 cm
