Prussian infantry officer epee in very early execution. Brass hilt with rigid blade with a side bracket. On the hand guard with leaf decorations and on the crossguard as well. Round pommel with leaf decorations, also with foliage, with intact iron wire winding and with existing finger spines. Lens-shaped, narrow, but very strong blade decorated with Solinger foliage and manufacturer, from the first third with flat middle ridge to the tip, flattening on the side. Last third massively sharpened. Very hard blade, excellent for stabbing.
With age-appropriate patina, minimal spots in very smooth structure.
Very authentic piece and rather rare to be found.
Leather sheath with mouth plate, this without carrying hook with a crack and without tip plate. In an age-related condition.
