Rare homogeneous pair of flintlock pistols type An IX, gendarmerie.

Round barrel pistol with identical thunder sides in their manufacture from different angles (see photos).

Revolutionary manufacturing with the 2 plates having exactly the same marking inside (I. BAZO).

Markings of the 2 pistols:
- pistol 1: barrel marked FOURN above and C. BONNEFOY below, rod M.P, counter-lock K?, Lock I. BAZO
- pistol 2: No marking on the barrel (similar manufacturing brand rod N, lock I. BAZO

Good and shiny metal fittings, iron rod (one is thinner than the other) very good and solid wood.
The percussion mechanisms are functional (see photos). Just one of the pistols is harder to arm, but it works and the flints trigger the required spark on the 2 pistols.

Collectible firearms, category D (free sale to adult) authentic Revolution and Empire period.
