Tribal Asmat drum, West-Papoea

Carved in one piece of hollowed out trunk with support structure strung with the skin of a iguana species.

Primitive carving with red coloured decoration , 4 carved wooden eyes filled with strings of different seeds

Cracks, tears within the trunk. Fixed with vegetable fibres and pitch like material.

Height approx. 57cm
Diameter approx. 15 cm.


Will be safely packaged and shipped with respect for the environment. The packaging consists largely of recycled materials and transportation to the post office is by freight bicycle. Shipping with Track & Trace.
