A fine quality, blanc de chine Guanyin of the late Qing period.
The goddess is portrayed sitting in meditation on a large lotus flower, beautifully modelled in its crips petals.
The statue has three pairs of arms, of which two are fixed to the body and one pair is mobile, to be inserted in one of three different positions in holes in the side of the statue.
General conditions good, tiny frittings to the lotus petals, both mobile arms restored.
