This lot, of very high scientific value, is a collection of Lepidoptera of the Drepanidae and Pantheidae families that derives from over twenty years of research and studies in various regions of Italy, from 1998 to 2018.
All species are prepared with open wings, with location and date of collection tags. Many come from areas of integral natural reserve and derive from quantitative university scientific studies carried out with permits in Italian Natural and Regional Parks.

For the amount of specimens, the lot is suitable for morphometric research on various apparatuses or can provide a substrate or material for molecular or genetic research.
