This sabre from 1838 has a steel cast bracket, opened on 3 sides and has a horn handle with a gold-colored filigree (wire winding) and a steel sheath with 2 carrying eyes.
The blade is sharp on 2 sides and has a sharp tip and a double blood slot!
The blade is engraved with the text Coulaude Aine Comp on one side and on the other;

Sword and sheath have no slack and given the age they are in good condition!
