This sword model from the period 1816-1838 was only made like this once! The subsequent models were all released as curved, sabre model!
This sabre from 1838 has a steel cast bracket, opened on 3 sides and has a horn handle with a gold-colored filigree (wire winding) and a steel sheath with 2 carrying eyes.
The blade is sharp on 2 sides and has a sharp tip and a double blood slot!
The blade is engraved with the text Coulaude Aine Comp on one side and on the other;
Mean Facture Klingenthal !! Under the guard, still difficult to recognize a G!
This sword model is from 1838 Klingenthal Entreprises Coulaux Aine Compagnie ( 1816 / 38.
Sword and sheath have no slack and given the age they are in good condition!
The sheath has some dents! The photos are an integral part of the description!
