Depicts a large farm building on fire. A woman, child and a dog are running away from the biulding.

Inscription: number "6" and initials "AB"

Paper-Size: Width 15.2cm Height: 9.5cm

On laid paper, with large watermark (see lightbox photo).

Condition: Cut outside the border-line; on, or within, the platemark. Marks caused by a previous mounting. Age-related paper colouring (see photos).

Frederik Bloemart (c.1616-1690 Dutch engraver, son of Abraham. Worked in Utrecht, mostly after his father Abraham's designs

Abraham Bloemart (1566–1651) Dutch painter, draughtsman &etcher/engraver. He worked mainly in Paris, Amsterdam & Utrecht, mostly painting history subjects and landscapes. Trained many artists, including his four sons, Hendrick, Frederick, Cornelis, and Adriaan Bloemart.
