Description
Suspension or. Shelf board (1) - Wood - Hanger - Ifugao - Ifugao, Philippines
Late 19th century - Good

This is an antique, architectural element from the inside of a traditional Ifugao house. On the one hand, it serves as a shelf for placing rice wine jugs and other things on it, and on the other hand, for hanging baskets from it, whereby, the figures depicting either dogs or pigs, hang downwards.
