Very large Antique copper portside lantern it was painted red then gray has the paint removed and a electric light fitted as the original oil light was missing. The lantern is in good condition with a small chip on the lip of the lens.It's and a couple of dents Dutch as its marked BAKBOORD meaning Portside the certificate number is ingraved on the lens and stamped in the lantern. The frisnel prism lens projects a beam of light that can be seen over lond distances. Please see the photos as they are part of the listed discription. I have another one like this but putting it on auction later as together they would be to large to ship. Can be hung desktop or mounted in a corner. Would make a nice decoration in a nautical setting office hotel yacht club pub harbor cafe or at home inside or outside. Will be well packed for sending and sent with depending where.
