Exclusive and valuable Kars Kazakh rug from Turkey, dating back to the second half of the 20th century (1960, therefore 60 years of age), Caucasian, hand-knotted, very soft, fine wool pile and wool warp and weft. Dimensions: approx. 205 x 128 cm, with the fringes. Thickness: approx. 0.4 cm. Number of knots approx. 250,000–300,000 per square metre (as you can see in the detailed photos). Extremely tough rug, as is the tradition of these rugs, thanks to the top quality materials used to make them. Very good condition despite it being approx. 60 years old. Professionally cleaned and then always kept in a low traffic are of the house. The pile and brightness of the colours are in very good condition, as shown in the photos. The photos are integral to the description and show the detailed decorations that adorn the rug.
