Organette (1) - Walnut wood - Late 19th century
North America

The Improved Celestina, Organette. Late 19th century American walnut wood music player with gilding details and with turn lever. Created by the Aeolian Organ Company from New York, the Celestina was one of the most popular hand-controlled organs of the period. This model was originally sold at the American Exhibition, London 1887.

Excellent copy, with all original gold-plated package transfers intact. Wonderfully full of sound and works properly, both playing and rewind. Cabinet almost in perfect condition. Only has a small dent in the wood in the extreme lower left at the front and lower right at the back.
