Butt is clean, with no breakage light-coloured wooden grips,
All the screw heads are well-preserved.
The ejector rod and sight are present.
Missing the trigger hatch behind the trigger
Crack on the left side that does not interfere with operation.
The surface remains in tobacco-coloured bronzed condition.

Strong hammer spring present.

The number 31 is engraved on many parts, cylinder, tail, trigger...
Liège inspection hallmark: ‘U’ with stars.
Inspector’s hallmark. ‘R’ with crown, proof of gunpowder test in England.
On the cylinder, ‘ELG’ in an oval with no crown = test bench of Liège, made before 1893
