Nice zoomorphic mask from the Nunuma ethnic group in Burkina Faso

The Nuna art is distinguished by its very colorful masks - red, white and black.
The generic terms "gurunsi" include various ethnic groups from the western and southern regions of the Mossi plateau: the nuna, the lela, the winiema, the nunuma, the kasena, the sisala

They claim to be the first occupants of the region. They would have left their homeland, in the north of Ghana, at the end of the 15th century.
