Two very nice paté terrines,
Rare depiction in the form of a Deer & Roe.

Both marked.
“Caugant”.


"Michel Caugant", inscription on bottom:
Cette piece en faience véritable a été entièrement réalisée a la main
Michel Caugant.

Translation:
This piece made of valuable faience, was completely handmade.
Michel Caugant


Deer:
Length x width base = 25.5 x 12.5 cm
Height = 23 cm

Roe:
Length x width base = 25.5 x 12.5 cm
Height = 20.5 cm


Weight together about 2400 grams


Both in beautiful condition, tiny glaze chip on the chin of the deer, unobtrusive.
