Superb 18th century flintlock pistol, circa 1760, by Challier, hunting pistol with gorgeous decorations of hunting scenes
Jean Challier, gunsmith, Rue Dauphine in Paris, was recognized as a master on 4th April 1758 and is known to have been gunsmith to the Count of Clermont, the Duke of Bourbon and Prince of Condé.
The mechanism works perfectly.
