Hampatong, hard wooden figurine from Kalimantan, Dayak.
Representing a spirit figure/deterrent god with protective effect to ward off evil spirits. Spirits were represented with three-fingered claws and a protruding tongue.
The figurine is of a very hard dark (almost black) wood.
Weight is 915 grams. Height of the figurine 26,2 cm.
The figurine can be sent as a postal package.
