Cathy Astolfi - Set of 2 bowls & ramekin

Description
Cathy Astolfi - Set of 2 bowls & ramekin
France - 2000-present - Porcelain

These 2 flat-bottomed bowls are intended for tea, hot chocolate, desserts, ice cream... They are suitable for everyday use with food, both hot and cold.
They were shaped without a potter's wheel in porcelain and then glazed inside. They are accompanied by a slightly hollow oval cup (about 16 cm long), made in the same way. The set evokes seashells...

The moss green decor with turquoise reflections is applied with a brush like an ink wash painting. The exterior is carved and unglazed.

These containers are delicate and sturdy. They are all different and yet look exactly the same. Each piece is unique.

The artist's creations have been devoted to the wilderness and the mineral world for over 30 years.
